Together they are developing a wiki to encapsulate the industrial heritage of the region. The role of Content and Design Manager was primarily concerned with strategic content development and management and consequently was entrenched in the practise of cultural transformation. User experience (usability and structural aesthetics) underpinned the daily tasks. Since February 2012 the structure of the wiki evolved from a hit-and-miss approach with minimal authority control to a simple knowledge organisation system with a combination hierarchical/concentric/chaotic structure utilising best practise principles for social information architecture/information design, drawn from: W3C recommended online classification system design, the Australian and New Zealand Standard Industrial Classification (ANZSIC) 2006, and Significance 2.0 (for museums and collections). This involved the use of qualitative usability studies (anecdotal results - not quantified for statistical interpretation). Show less -
