CurrentA white clapboard building with a tall steeple may be an image that comes to mind when you hear the word church. Maybe church is where God lives and people come to visit Him on Sunday mornings. In my life and my ministry church is not a building. Church is people from all over the world who gather together and share a common belief that Jesus is their Messiah. The church where I serve brings people together to worship, dig into God’s word together and share life's realities. We are the Church.I am invested in creating social capitol within the local church. My desire, to restore this lost way of life so that it spills out into the surrounding neighborhood and community. I shepherd and coach volunteer group leaders and encourage them to discover their gifts and opportunities to serve using their gifts, skills and talents. I support group leaders through training and workshops to better equip them to navigate God's Word within the group and to create and foster opportunities for building genuine relationships. Living out God's word together grows us and transforms us. I lead church wide events and concerts that bring the church community and surrounding neighborhoods together. I help create group environments within the bigger church because doing life alone was never part of God's original plan.
