Currently enjoying various personal, charitable and professional passions, Medistar’s previous owner and CEO, Beth R. Denton, has been a leader in the CPA field and healthcare industry for close to 40 years. In 1996, Beth Roby Denton, a Louisiana native and graduate of LSU, joined a diversified healthcare organization, which included 25 home health offices throughout Louisiana. She served as its President and CFO and in 2004 purchased its north and central Louisiana home health agencies, changing their names to Medistar Home Health. In 2011 she added a south-central agency to the Medistar family and sold them to a large regional provider in early 2017. She has shown her dedication to the Louisiana home health industry by having served on the Board of the Home Care Association of Louisiana and has been referred to by financial leaders as a “Management Marvel.”
