This role is responsible for promoting the Students’ Association and for raising levels of student involvement. This includes getting students to stand and vote in student elections, encouraging students to become representatives, getting students involved in Student Association campaigns, poster design, conducting research, getting students involved in environmental activities and encouraging students to get involved in sport and societies.

This role consisted of training student representatives at the University of the West of Scotland. This involved training hundreds of University of the West of Scotland students in researching opinion, constructive feedback and improving lobbying skills. This also allowed University to further adopt a quality enhancement approach rather than solely a quality assurance model.

Similar to the Institutional Associate Trainer role, this involved training students in various institutions in Scotland in particular colleges that were undergoing merger process. This again involved teaching students in researching opinion, constructive feedback and improving lobbying skills.
