Provided technical support to the stakeholders of the USDA BioPreferred Program through reviews of label applications. Assisted new applicants with the process of applying for a label. Evaluated applications to determine correct product categories, ensures raw materials were accurate and confirmed the applicability of the innovative criteria. Reviewed product websites to maintain Program brand guidelines and ensured that the label was used appropriately. Facilitated Helpline calls and email requests for companies to become involved in the Program.Researched federal facilities' records to determine if any locations were suspected of historically storing per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) materials.
