I have been coding since I was 8 years old do to my parents throwing me in a computer programming summer class. I knew from a young age that this is what I wanted to do. I have been fortunate in my experiences as a professional developer. My niche in the world of software engineering is database driven web applications and also legacy system rewrites. I am a self directed developer that knows how to run with an idea. My dream job would be creating software that had a purpose for a company that does not get caught up in the buzz word of the day. Java is my programming language of choice and Linux is my platform of preference.
