Responsible for recruitment, retention and celebration of valuable volunteers to assist in domestic abuse prevention throughout the five county service area (Sauk, Columbia, Juneau, Adams and Marquette) in south central Wisconsin. Support and nurture volunteers who participate in enhancing resident services and programming for Hope House's emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Initiate and expand community outreach events throughout the Hope House service area to improve awareness of support services and continually advocate for domestic violence prevention. Consistently seek avenues of additional resources for the organization's clients, including contributed income as well as donations of goods and services. Facilitate expansion of children's group offerings, developing structure and activities for ongoing groups. Support victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault in compassionate encouraging manner, providing tools for healing and wellness and ongoing outreach. In all things, educate and advocate for the elimination of domestic abuse and sexual assault.
