I joined LinkedIn to connect with other healthcare professionals that share a passion for women’s health, preventative medicine, and healthcare quality.My career as a Physician Assistant began in 2017, after completing a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. After completing my training, I had the opportunity to work at a UPMC Family Medicine clinic in Pittsburgh, PA. As a new graduate I gained experience in primary care with a focus on women’s health, and trained on outpatient contraction procedures including IUD and Nexplanon care.In 2020, my husband and I relocated with our family to Knoxville, TN, which led to a job change and the opportunity to develop proficiency in contraception care and develop new experience in the area of gender-affirming hormone replacement therapy.My passion for primary care and women’s health led to transitioning to a role with Summit Medical Group in 2021. My primary focus has been supporting women’s health through the transition into the post-menopausal phase of life. In addition to offering bio-identical hormone replacement, I support women’s overall health by providing weight management, thyroid support, and primary care services.Prior to my career as a PA, I worked in process improvement and operations for ten years. I continue to have strong analytical skills and a passion for bringing process improvement into healthcare to improve quality and patient care.
