About Beth Gardner
Originally from the greater Milwaukee area, I graduated in 2001 with a degree in Arts Management. I have a background in non-profit management, with more than ten years experience in community engagement, arts education, and non-profit leadership roles. While working at a K-8 school on the northwest side of Milwaukee, I participated in trauma sensitive professional development training from Mount Mary University's School of Counseling. I am currently working towards a certification in ADHD coaching with the ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA), an internationally recognized coach training program. In 2016, I hit the pause button on my career and was a stay at home mom. In 2017, my family relocated to Central Wisconsin, a place that is near and dear to our hearts, as both my husband and I gradated from UW-Stevens Point. Go Pointers! In late 2022, I eased my way back into the working world, taking a part time position in the admissions office at my alma mater--an opportunity and full circle moment, for which I'm eternally grateful. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Monteverdi Chorale and perform as an active member of the choir. I volunteer for NAMI-Portage/Wood Counties and am committed to building more awareness and empathy for all things neurodiversity. My husband and I live in Stevens Point, WI and we have 3 boys, ages 14, 12 and 8. We have a golden retriever named Murray and 2 cats, Moira and Rose.
