Beth Geatches (She/Her/Hers; "Geatches" rhymes with "sketches") serves as Development and Events Manager at Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh, PA.Beth received her Master of Arts Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University, earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Film Studies from The University of Tulsa, and graduated from the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics. In the fundraising field, she has previously worked at Arcade Comedy Theater as the organization's first Director of Development, City Theatre, and Pittsburgh Musical Theater. In project management and coordination, she has worked at Zeeco, Inc. as a Project Engineer / Manager, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, the Future Tenant art gallery, and Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama.She enjoys working with people on creative and challenging projects via project management, event planning, logistics, and strategic planning. In addition to her fundraising and project management work, Beth is a freelance resume editor and career counselor, and regularly teaches, produces, and performs improv and sketch comedy for all ages in-person and online.
