The Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy is a charitable organization that began operations in June 2019 to raise funds in support of Toronto Zoo animal welfare and conservation programs. The Executive Director provides strategic and operational leadership to the Wildlife Conservancy’s growth and activities, including supervision of four Wildlife Conservancy staff members. Works with Wildlife Conservancy and Toronto Zoo staff to maximize existing individual, corporate, and foundation philanthropic relationships, and to actively identify and secure new sources of support. Assists with the identification and recruitment of Conservancy Board members, and provides administrative, operational and strategic support for Board initiatives.

The Niagara Escarpment Commission (NEC) is a Crown Agency of the Province of Ontario responsible for administering the Niagara Escarpment Plan (NEP) and a system of development control. Commissioners are appointed by Cabinet and meet 8 to 12 times annually. Duties included review and approval of development permit applications and NEP policies, and provision of recommendations on NEP amendments.

The Bruce Trail Conservancy is a charitable organization dedicated to establishing a protected corridor of natural land along the Niagara Escarpment, and making the corridor accessible to the public via the Bruce Trail. As CEO, provided staff and volunteer leadership for the organization. Accountable for executing Board-approved priorities and policies. Overall responsibility for the financial, programmatic and operational management of the Bruce Trail Conservancy in order to fulfill its mission; securing necessary financial, staff and volunteer resources, with particular attention to fundraising revenues; ensuring wise stewardship of those resources; promoting the organization locally and nationally; and serving the needs of the membership, donors and public users of the Bruce Trail.• Raised $33 million in grants and donations • Oversaw the permanent protection of 152 properties worth over $23 million, representing 6,500 acres of preserved Niagara Escarpment land• Initiated the Bruce Trail Association’s name change to The Bruce Trail Conservancy

Sourcing new business opportunities for consulting and hazardous waste treatment projects, including Identification and cultivation of prospective clients, preparation of scientific papers and marketing literature, regulatory approvals for treatment plant siting, public relations/consultation and communications, and supervision of business development project staff.• Significantly raised the profile of the organization through speaking engagements and technical presentations worldwide• Directly contributed to securing treatment contracts for organic chemical wastes
