As a History Instructor at Georgia Highlands College, I teach survey history courses in Western Civilization I and II, World History I and II, and American History. I organize and participate in college wide academic events, attend faculty meetings, and academic conferences. I mentor and advise students, support students in academic and sports college events.

I teach for the Center for Distance Learning as an Adjunct Instructor in History. I presently teach courses in African History, Russian History and Latin American History.

As Assistant Director of Alumni Career Services, I managed the career services office staff and reported directly to the Executive Director. Responsibilities included: evaluating and implementing revenue generating partnerships for Alumni Career Services, planning and implementing twenty career development seminars and workshops a year, managing and maintaining the career services web-page, conducting career counseling for Alumni, writing the official publication of the Alumni Association, overseeing career services budget and managing the day to day internal operations and staff of the Alumni Association and Alumni Career Services.

Taught 6 courses of US History and English for grades six and eight.Wrote new Social Studies Curriculum Guidelines for the Middle School in 2002-2003.Coordinated and supervised after-school activities.Supervised students and activities in the dormitory on selected weekends.Served as faculty adviser and coordinator for the school’s Literary Magazine.Managed day-to-day activities in the classroom.
