As a Customer Service Rep for Sensient I hold hands with the orders that I process every step of the way from the moment our customers place their orders all the way until it leaves our building ensuring they reach their destination on time.Since I began my career at Sensient I have made a few efficient changes within my department to help our process flow easier and enable our communications to be simpler. In doing so a strong bond with my team and colleagues was formed. I also arranged dinners and celebratory office snacks for my team to help boost morale which lead for my recommendation to our company Engagement Council.The Engagement Council was formed with the aim to bring together departments within the BU during Engagement activities and discussions. As a Publicist & Communications member in my team of 3, I created our monthly newsletter template, liased with the I.T department to create and grant access to all Engagement Council members to an Outlook inbox folder which enabled all employees to be able to contact the EC as a group instead of individually. In the communication side of my role I would send out invitations, reminders and general information from the council.In my down time I volunteer on the events team for a child bereavement charity known as Harry's Rainbow, created by our now MBE Odette Mould. The events team including Odette have arranged amazing events and activities in Milton Keynes for 8 years, I have been privileged enough to be apart of the ideas the planning and the execution. With my personal and work experience with The Engagement Council and Harry's Rainbow they have driven my passion for Marketing within the BU.
