In this role my job was to enhance the experience of new hire joining the business following their designated training period, by working to engage throughout this time and create an environment of familiarity. I work create a climate of support, to develop their skills through their on-boarding period, by encouraging quality conversations. I am also responsible for the development of Academy Team Leaders and Floorwalkers, working to elevate their coaching capabilities and reinforce high quality standards. I am responsible for the creation of Academy processes and accountable in ensuring requirements are met, to achieve this I must be process driven and an lead with a structured approach. As an Academy Manager I have worked to coordinate Academy methodology and work with Recruitment, Training, Floorwalkers, Academy Team Leaders and Operations, to deliver a seamless process. I work side by side, daily with these stakeholders to strive for results that not only meet glide paths but exceed the expectations set. To achieve this I have been driven to succeed in my goals, gain buy in from stakeholders, through relationship management and be competent in delivering analysis on results achieved weekly. I have created a process to enable Team leaders to deliver results and track performance, giving insight into trends throughout a new hire journey, which can be delivered back to the business. To gain success in this role I have had to deliver many key skills.
