Lead Clinical Research Coordinator
CurrentThe Center for Sleep and Circadian Science (CSCS) is an internationally-recognized group of investigators, educators, and clinicians united around a common vision: To optimize health and function through sleep and circadian science. Currently report to the Principle Investor, Associate Professor. Oversee and monitor research studies and clinical trials to validate data and ensure the timely delivery of accurate results in an ethical manner. • Act as a main point of contact and site manager throughout all phases of clinical research studies.• Direct and monitor full-cycle recruitment for junior staff and ensure they are properly mentored and on-boarded.• Oversee the successful delivery of recruitment and retention protocols.• Manage initiatives designed to specifically tailor training to individual employee needs and coordinate informal coaching sessions for employees on various projects.• Lead weekly meetings that monitor progress with the Research Team.* Successfully on-boarded 12 staff members, including Data Managers, Research Associates, and Interns. * Streamlined team meeting processes and approaches by reorganizing the meeting agenda, saving 20 to 30 minutes every week.* Reduced consent time by 30 minutes, which led to a significant reduction in participant burden during intake and increased participant retention/commitment.* Created reports and managed their delivery to the National Institute of Mental Health and the Institutional Review Board (IRB).* Maintained an up-to-date knowledge and familiarity with annual professional training and development, including Comprehensive Crisis Management, ICH/GCP, and ethics in research. * Eliminated a data input backlog by streamlining processes and implementing best practices to ensure that data capture was up to date and efficient.
