I was hired by Armstrong originally as a 'Finance Apprentice'. Upon completion of my Apprenticeship, I was promoted to 'Accounts Assistant'.My role is largely varied, and I have many different duties including: o Downloading, analysing and sending out reportso Creation of sales invoices and credit noteso Raising intercompany recharges and reconciling the intercompany accountso Posting and matching purchase invoiceso Posting a wide variety of journalso Credit control (chasing cash, dealing with queries, approving orders and checking credit limits)o Posting of daily cash/bankingDuring my time at Armstrong, I have completed training modules such as:- Microsoft Excel Basics course- Cyber Security Awareness- Customer Service (Breakthrough Listening, Dealing with Irate Customer, The Telephone Connection)
