I am currently the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Wello, Inc., a role I have had since 2016. Wello’s mission is to build fair and just community conditions that drive high levels of well-being for all. Our small organization (currently 5 full time staff) has consistently been singled out for our innovative work by national organizations including the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the American Public Health Association, the Tufts Food and Nutrition Innovation Institute and the National League of Cities, where we are valued as leaders in the sector of community-based health equity work. Food is central to Wello's mission, and our portfolio of food systems work is defined by an entrepreneurial approach to collaboration that hinges on the following tenets: start small, invest in building relationships, work up from observed need and capacity and center community leadership at each step.I am also the Co-Founder of Pulling Down the Moon, Inc.Integrative Care for Fertility, with locations in Chicago and Highland Park. This business grew from a yoga class in 2002 to a nationally-recognized brand that has profoundly impacted the standard of care in women's health and fertility.
