For seventeen years, I was a school administrator in the highest performing school district in the state of Georgia. I lead in many capacities at my school. However, my number one priority is people. I worked with an at-risk population of students who required consistent and continuous encouragement, monitoring, and support both academically and with their social emotional needs. I strove to create positive relationships with students, teachers, counselors, and parents in order to work together for each student’s success. I've received training through the Georgia Staff Development Council which has enhanced my ability to serve as a designer, implementer, and deliverer of quality professional learning that impacts teacher performance and student achievement. It is my belief that ongoing professional learning is key to achieving any organizational strategic goals.
