Civil Engineering Consulting Services, Inc. (CECS) is a diversified engineering firm providing a variety of engineering services with an emphasis on transportation projects, including Hydraulics, Roadway Design, Bridge Design, Project Management, Traffic Studies, Environmental, Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE), Utility Coordination and Construction Management/Monitoring and Inspection. CECS was founded in Columbia, South Carolina in 1993. The CECS staff is dedicated to completing projects on time and within budget and is exemplified by many of our current and past projects including major highway widenings, new location roads, bridge replacements, intersection improvements, and environmental studies. The work of CECS has been recognized by the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of South Carolina for multiple Engineering Excellence Awards.
