The primary function of this role was to manage the Post process for all Harpo Studios Broadcasts. Along with my Co-Director, I oversee a team of Post Producers/Coordinators and Post PA’s to ensure that all shows make it to air on time - looking and sounding the very best they possibly can. This requires organization and the ongoing need to create and revise project plans, forecast needs, mind the budgets, execute the Network deliverables and represent the link between Harpo and OWN (The Oprah Winfrey Network) for show deliveries and edit status. Along the way and with each opportunity, I strive to improve efficiency of edit flow - always working towards a more streamlined post process between our department and Producers, Editors, Edit scheduling, Promo Producers, Audio sweetening, Digital platform team, Production management and Legal.

After the Roise demise, I moved over to Supervising post for all Harpo/OWN programs. During this time I was a also the Producer for several special projects including, a year long adaptation of a multi-part Web Series with Eckhart Tolle and restructured it for Broadcast. In the Summer of 2011, after a short hiatus from the final Season of the Oprah Show, we returned back to Harpo Studios to begin work on a myriad of new programs for OWN. I was selected by the EIC and the EP to serve as Supervising Post Producer for the Pilot and Series of The Rosie Show. I developed and managed the entire post process and procedures with a hand-picked 24/7 edit team. This show taped and aired 5 days a week.

I was a Post Producer for "The Oprah Winfrey Show" from Season 21 through the Season 25 Series Finale.

Independent Producer for television and non-broadcast content. the crown jewel of our project spectrum was a multiyear documentary on the making of "Sugar From the Sun." A first of its kind, immersive, experiential exhibit at the Garfield Park Conservatory.

Supervising Senior Producer (1998-2002)Scheduler and Associate Producer (1996-1998) Del Hall Video was owned and operated by legendary CBS cameraman, Del Hall (and wife Ginger). DHV was a full service, upscale boutique video production facility, originally designed to attract high end non-broadcast and corporate clients in the way that a “Michigan Avenue” post house would attract Agency spot work. We also had a stable of broadcast clients including Kurtis Productions (Field/Studio shoots and online) "Investigative Reports with Bill Kurtis (A&E). In 1999, we conceived and developed, “Come Out & Play” a long running, Emmy Award winning television show that we conceived of and produced for the Chicago Park District.

I was offered a job at Video Network several episodes into taping “Strictly Business,” an infomercial/cable chat show. This was my first staff job in television and it was all very exciting. I quickly expanded my capabilities learning about scopes, tape formats and cameras. I wrote copy, hired crew, was involved in set design and sales. My favorite part was putting the shows together and I spent countless hours screening footage and off-lining our programs on side-by-side ¾ decks. My cut would would then be on-lined using an Ampex ADO 1000. Rounding out the technology was an actual Chyron CG with 4…yes…4 fonts. It was older technology even for then but we were resourceful and made it work. Alas, two years in, operations came to a close and I was more than hungry for a bigger outfit with modern equipment. I am eternally grateful for this experience.
