Responsibilities included collaboration with Purchasing to determine annual standards, forecasting and variance analysis of all materials spending and usage, forward commitment recommendations, assistance with idea generation and tracking of productivity initiatives, and financial support for the Supply Chain function. * Managed the planning, forecasting and variance analysis for major expense categories. Process included extensive communication and coordination of volume updates, sales mix assumptions, formula changes and raw ingredient and packaging rate changes. Prepared the variance analysis for each major category indicating the key drivers of change. * Financial support for the Purchasing function to develop productivity initiatives and track annual savings. Annual savings of $3-$5 Million over three consecutive years. * Financial support for the due diligence process during the December 2016 Company Sale.

Responsibilities included accounting and forecasting of all commodity and energy hedging strategies, redesign of planning process from annual budget to rolling forecast, financial support for the Supply Chain function. * Responsible for the accounting of the hedging strategies used for commodities and energies. Included attending monthly risk management strategy meetings, recording daily activity of contract purchases and sales and preparation of quarterly Board Book presentation of overall risk position. * Managed the planning, forecast and actual reporting of the Company Sustainability initiative with cost savings of $5 - $20 million annually over the past several years.
