• Led the Technical Writing effort for the Electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment (eCOA) Research and Development business unit. Delivered Asset/Technical/Internal Release Notes for all eCOA Core Engineering and eSense product releases to meet tight deadlines. Liaised with several developers worldwide (Croatia, England, Germany, India, Turkey, and the United States) to understand what they developed, then detailed new functionality provided in each product release to standards that were scrutinized in audits. • Initiated the writing of Product/Internal User Guides for three eCOA products (outside of job responsibilities) after realizing that these guides were needed and not available. Updated the Internal User Guides for new releases. Enlisted and trained other colleagues to assist with content verification and screen shots.• Increased productivity by mentoring several new Technical Writers in the Product Management business unit, suggesting they leverage information in the Asset/Technical/Internal Release Notes to write the client-facing Release Notes. • Networked with other Technical Writers in other business units throughout the company to troubleshoot issues and share information. • Improved communication by learning the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology and the Polarion ALM tool when Clario changed software development life cycle methodologies, and the tools used to manage features, user stories and bugs.• Stepped up to cover for the Operations Coordinator when needed. Coordinated several documents required for each eCOA software release, reviewed each document, ensured they adhered to current templates, set up then verified the documents had appropriate signatures in Polarion and DocuSign, and issued the company-wide Release Ready Notification.

Wrote Internal Release Notes for all Research and Development product releases in the business unit. Identified the need for an Internal User Guide for a new product, vetted the need by interviewing members of each department that would benefit from the guide, and ultimately wrote several editions. The guide proved so useful that similar guides for additional products were requested and were subsequently written.

Learned and was tested on medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, healthcare documentation practices, grammar and punctuation, practical medical transcription experience and listening skills.

Reviewed and edited chapters of a book on Cognitive Computing.

Consulted for the Customer Support and Training Dept. and completed several assignments including Event Rule edits; production and quality assurance of Summaries of Benefits and Coverage (SBCs); Document Delta Comparisons; and various Content Library activities.

Designed and created standards and templates; wrote and edited set of context-sensitive Web Help documentation for Visibility’s .net application, (VISIBILITY). This application is a complex, made-to-order manufacturing tool comprised of 23 modules. The documentation set includes a merged table of contents, allowing search and index capability across the entire documentation set.Assisted in hiring, training and supervising five technical writers.Developed training materials and standards documents for non-technical writers.Delivered training, then coordinated activities of nine non-technical writers.Participated as member of a documentation team (4 years), worked independently from home part-time while coordinating the efforts of 2 remote teams of non-technical writers (4 years) and 6+ years experience as a sole technical writer.Developed documentation sets in WebHelp, PDF, HTMLHelp and printed formats.
