The Sr. Development & Project (D&P) Manager is responsible for assessment, evaluation and analytical efforts associated with new business opportunities of Maxxon products and services. The Sr. D&P Manager works in collaboration with the VP/Sales, Director of R&D, Marketing and various Regional Managers in ways that increase sales and market share with the end-consumers through applicator networks. The Sr. D&P Manager is additionally responsible for project management of various projects engaged in by leadership. The Sr. D&P Manager oversees the marketing initiatives of Maxxon.

• Develop and coordinate five events annually to engage and reconnect alumni to the College of Medicine.• Plan and coordinate Alumni and Family Weekend, a four day reunion weekend that features nine events ranging from continuing education to an awards banquet.• Serve as co-chair of research committee to identify best practices and create a process by which potential donors are identified, researched, and moved through the donor pipeline.• Work with a team to develop a budget that meets strategic goals of the UK Medical Alumni Association. • Manage the cash flow of five alumni accounts• Plan and prepare for two annual alumni board meetings, including the planning of up to six committee meetings, the creation of five to six board reports, and all aspects of inviting alumni to attend.• Work with fourth year medical students to facilitate the annual graduation brunch, which up to 800 people attend.• Create new opportunities to engage alumni in the College of Medicine, including the development of “Career Chats with Alumni”, an informal learning event based on the concept of speed-dating.• Manage alumni database of over 10,000 alumni and constituents.• Maintain alumni website, including content creation and working with web programmer to constantly add value to the website.• Manage two fulltime employees and up to ten employees at special events.

• Created and implemented game schedule to include all sponsor obligations, fan participation activities, and team oriented promotions.• Directed the actions of approximately 20 staff members through out each game in an effort to seamlessly execute activities, announcements, video elements, and music resulting in an energy charged environment that promotes increased game attendance.• Developed 60+ scripts to ensure the accurate dispersal of information to the public through the public announcement system.• Contributed ideas to create an exciting atmosphere throughout each game. • Problem solve with key staff members in an effort to constantly improve on the “product”.

• Responsible for the procurement, coordination, and follow through of fine equine art for the organization’s largest annual fundraiser resulting in over $100,000 in revenue in 2004, 2005, and 2006, while working closely with donating artists to accommodate their diverse ongoing needs. Also responsible for the oversight and training of six volunteer staff members.• In charge of the planning and implementation of the organization’s 2004 and 2005 advertising campaign for the annual Egyptian Event, including the design of all advertisements.• Responsible for the solicitation, compilation, and organization of advertising for Volume XI Reference Handbook, a project occurring once every three years. Drove sales from previous issue to $70,000 increase in revenue.• Provide courteous and thorough customer service on a daily basis to Pyramid Society members in an effort to exceed expectations of membership base and ensure member retention. Requests including but not limited to assistance with ad design, conflict resolution, and assistance with research requests.• Drove advertising sales for two publications to an increase of over 300% in two years. • Managed all aspects of the organization’s website, including the development of new revenue streams and information sharing, resulting in increased revenue of over 240% and increase in average monthly hits from 80,000 to 200,000+.• Liaison for all media relations including the creation and distribution of press releases nationally and internationally; prepared and distributed media kits and acted as the media contact for the annual Egyptian Event.• Point person for the content, development, and publication of monthly news briefs and quarterly newsletters for the organization, as well as much of the editorial content in four international publications.
