• Human Resources Manager for The Bon Ton Stores division totaling 163 branch locations • Provide senior leadership to $86 million division, with 20 executives and over 1000 field representatives within The Bon Ton Stores division• Maintain low open positions by training and assisting managers with recruiting, networking, interviewing• Review applications, interview and process credit checks to determine appropriate fit for the organization and determine pay rates based on experience, location and budget• Reduce turnover by guiding managers though appropriate hiring choices and retention• Monitor payroll usage and overtime to maintain budget and ensure paid time off is paid within guidelines• Handle all employee relations within region and determine appropriate disciplinary action when necessary• Audit personnel records to maintain accuracy• Answer employee questions pertaining to our employee benefits program• Ensure compliance to FMLA laws and company leave policy• Ensure group is in compliance with all company initiatives, including but not limited to selling standards, model scheduling, productivity management and counseling, use of interview guides and training orientation materials
