Beth McGrath is a proven thought leader in strategic planning, program and performance management, investment reviews, and transformation. As a Director in Deloitte’s Consulting practice, Beth uses her unique experience and deep expertise to advise Federal executives through their most complex organizational and operational changes. Beth has broad, multi-disciplined, strategic and operational management experience acquired during her 25+ years in the Federal Government in positions up to the Undersecretary-level in the Department of Defense (DoD). During her highly-lauded federal career, Beth led major DoD transformations, developed Department-side strategies, led rigorous investment management for a $7 billion business IT portfolio, and spearheaded cost reduction efforts amidst a challenging fiscal environment. Consequently, she is uniquely positioned to advise clients considering transformations, to develop executable strategies that mitigate risks, and to seize opportunities to innovate and improve business operations. At Deloitte, Beth creates integrated advisory solutions that leverage her federal experience and the broad Federal and industry reach-back at Deloitte to deliver real impact to her clients. Beth earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from George Mason University and is a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute. She is Acquisition certified in program management, financial management and logistics, a National Academy of Public Administration fellow, and a Strategic Advisory to Government Executives with the Partnership for Public Service.
