My role at MYA involved consulting a high number of patients daily via video call whilst delivering the highest level of customer care. As an advisor, I was targeted against KPI’s which were specific to patient outcomes and satisfaction. I was responsible for understanding CQC standards and acting in accordance with them. The aim of a consultation is to discover patients motives for surgery, find out why they chose MYA and then offer professional advice and information regarding what a surgeon may recommend. From this role, I also have experience in working in a clinical environment as I was required to occasionally chaperone surgeon clinics to ensure patients felt safe and comfortable.

During my time at Matalan, I worked as part of the ladies footwear, stock placement and men’s departments. My duties included updating Monday trade sheets for my Merchandiser, who then used these within trade meetings to comment on the week’s sales, stock figures and best sellers. Other areas of my role included raising orders and communicating with suppliers and as part of this I regularly updated and maintained my critical path so that if any lateness occurred it was dealt with in the correct way.

From starting at JD Sports as an Allocator at entry level, I quickly became a Merchandise Assistant working on the Men’s Textiles team, responsible for over 40 brands. During my time at JD, I was responsible for brands including Fred Perry, Lacoste and all Men’s Textiles own brand i.e. Mckenzie and Supply & Demand. I made an effort to work with the JD warehouse team and suppliers to ensure all bookings are created and due in at the correct date. This then meant we were able to work in the most efficient way and ensured as a team, we were as organised as possible.
