I am a very hardworking and motivated Year Leader with over 5 years of experience in education in a variety of roles, driven by supporting others and making a difference, and am currently looking for a change in career where I can contribute my skills and experience and apply them to a new environment. With my experience in safeguarding, I am both professional and empathetic, knowing and understanding a variety of roles within schools. Working in a fast paced and high-pressure school environment, I must make key decisions under pressure which makes me both a rational and adaptable person. I always strive to work to the best of my ability and am ambitious to progress to every success in my career, no matter what the role. I have recently completed a National Professional Qualification (NPQ) in leading behaviour and culture, and this has allowed me to gain leadership skills to further my ability to lead people in creating a culture where students and staff are safe and able to achieve their best, something I think I can bring to other settings.Alongside my core role in education, I have also organised several school events, including the Year 11 school prom - DJ, venue, catering hire etc. - for over 250 students and staff. I have also taken part in the organising and co-ordinating of several school musicals and productions, including leading rehearsals for members of the student bands and choir. I am incredibly eager to develop my event planning abilities within a client facing role.
