Beth graduated from UWE in 2004 with a textiles degree. She has since designed and facilitated many arts and craft based workshops for a wide age range of people, from children to adultsIn 2008 Beth began a business in London with a friend teaching sewing “on the road”, travelling around in a pink taxi The Studio was a fun and inclusive environment for all ages to learn to sew. From here Beth went on to work as an artist in residence for two years at Wycombe Abbey School in High Wycombe. The residency meant Beth had time to cultivate her arts practice and teach art lessons and weekend workshops.A few years later and Beth has completed her Post Graduate Certificate in early years education, graduating as “Outstanding”. Not having left her arts practise behind Beth is also represented by four galleries both in London and Bristol and exhibits internationally throughout the year.Feeling there was a need to take creative workshops on the road again, Beth came up with the idea of The Art Troupe, a rich resource of professional artists who can and will teach workshops wherever they are wanted within a radius of Bristol.
