With close to 20 years of experience, I am a legal professional with a passion for providing legal advice and guidance for complex and diverse projects and teams. Most recently, as a Lead Legal Counsel at TotalEnergies E&P UK, the team I managed supported the development and execution of the company's strategy and operations in the UK, overseeing legal aspects of contracts, transactions, disputes, and related compliance (including Economic Sanctions). Previous to that, as a Senior Legal Counsel at Total S.A. (now TotalEnergies SE), I provided legal advice and support for TotalEnergies' global Exploration &Production investment/divestment operations which were being pursued by its Affaires Nouvelles (New Business) division. I also gained valuable experience in the Canadian energy industry during my eight-year tenure at TotalEnergies E&P Canada Ltd (which was acquired by Suncor Inc. in November 2023) where I was Legal Department Manager until 2018, and responsible for the day-to-day management of the Legal department as well as providing legal advice and support to all local TotalEnergies Exploration & Production business divisions as well as TotalEnergies Marketing (the entity responsible for local midstream and marketing activities) in Canada. Prior to that I started my legal career with Macleod Dixon LLP (now part of Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP), as part of the Energy & Resources, Business Law, Global Resources and Banking & Private Capital practice groups.My background and experience have not only given me a broad set of legal and commercial skills, but also a dedication to safe, sustainable and responsible development of projects.
