I have had an interesting career path journey. I originally trained as a Medical Technologist and worked in the labs for a few years. Due to a move to a small town, I spent the next 5 years performing the accounting, HR and payroll for a small CPA firm. I eventually went on the earn my Masters in Health Services Administration from Creighton University. I have been the Department Administrator for OB/GYN at Creighton University and the Division Administrator of Infectious Diseases at UNMC. These have been two very different positions, one a competitive clinical business and the other a consult only business. I have overseen the financials on Industry sponsored contracts as well as Federal grants. I have previously worked in a business that secured DoD contracts for the researchers at the various Universities of Nebraska campuses. Most recently, I moved on to the controller position at Bulu. Bulu specializes in client subscription kitting and shipping as well as pick and pack fulfillment and shipping. Bulu is currently staged for client growth and I prepare financial scenarios based on varying client needs and potential sales activities.
