Transitioned a small business from Kampala, Uganda, to Bedford, England, selling handcrafted goods such as baskets and textiles as well as vintage and mid century sets, and locally handmade ceramics and artwork.

I have been employed by UNFPA Uganda multiple times in a freelance capacity for the purpose of proofreading and editing project annual reports both whilst in situ in Kampala, Uganda and in a remote capacity from the UK.

Responsible for designing and executing monthly newsletter for USAID Uganda staff highlighting and reinforcing organisational health and development messages and training.

The role as marketing manager at PSI was a six month maternity leave cover and consisted of overseeing the Admissions and Marketing team - two receptionists, Communications Officer and Registrar. I managed all ongoing communication streams including Facebook, email newsletters, and event management including coordinating with the videographer. I conducted an overhaul and thorough edit of the school website content, as well as ongoing updates and troubleshooting on the site. At the time the school was part of a customer service improvement project with an external trainer, for which I organised staff training sessions and the implementation of the project milestones with all stakeholders.

Managed patient admission processes during the pre-operative phase, ensuring my patients' were prepared for their surgical procedure, collecting patients' from the recovery room, delivering post operative care on the ward as day patients or in-patients including drug administration, wound care and delivery of post operative instructions and health promotion upon discharge from hospital.

Developed a keen sense of advocacy and customer relations and communication skills. Trained fellow marketers on WV strategies and policies as well as outsourced marketers in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Helped to develop marketing materials for child sponsorship including brochures and posters to promote the NGO to UK donors. Supported regional conferences by assisting in the logistics of various promotional events.
