This involves overseeing the processing of over 8,000 undergraduate applications each academic year via UCAS, the Common Application and direct, managing over 35,000 international prospect and applicant enquiries per year, working with colleagues in the Student Recruitment and Admissions Office and academic departments to improve information and the services provided to international applicants and to increase the uptake of offers of both undergraduate and postgraduate applicants including meeting recruitment targets for undergraduate and postgraduate income-generating students, contributing to the enrolment of nearly 2000 international students annually, and meeting a conversion target rate of 20% for undergraduate students.
