• Effectively manage the recruitment and selection processes including preparing job descriptions and adverts, liaising with agencies, sending out application packs, responding to requests for information from candidates, arranging and attending interviews• Supporting the Management team in the development and implementation of a staff appraisal system, identifying training needs in line with the training matrix and appraisals• Provide generalist HR advice to Directors and Managers to ensure compliance with employment legislation and working at all times to nurture positive employee relations • Advising and/or conducting disciplinary investigations and absence management return to work meetings.• Advising and coaching managers on conducting disciplinary, grievance, performance management and capability meetings• Taking minutes of disciplinary, grievance, performance management and capability meetings as required• Supporting in investigations relating to grievances and giving appropriate responses• Production of new starters induction process, contracts of employment, updates to the Employee Handbook and other associated documentation• Conducting induction programmes and leavers interviews• Advise managers on the process for conducting probation reviews• Maintaining up to date awareness of current employment law and best practice• Providing day to day support and advice to employees in all HR matters• Create and maintain all employee personnel files, ensuring archiving of leavers and cleansing of information held in line with the Data Protection Act• Maintenance of training files for all staff including the booking of necessary training in order for employees to remain current• Management of vehicle fleet to include, servicing, MOTs, vehicle tax, mileage checks• Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role
