As a Life Technician my role sits within our Protection Team, supporting our two dedicated Protection Advisers manage their administrative responsibilities and the day to day operation of the department. I liaise closely with our Protection Providers, Home Insurance Consultant, Mortgage Advisers and our clients to ensure that the clients journey with Fenton Simpson is as smooth as possible and all case files are in line with our compliance SLA.I am required to report on the progress of each case on a daily basis, maintain good relationships between the clients and Protection Advisers is key to my role. Generating quotes for advisers in preparation of client appointments as well as Demands & Needs letters. Overall assisting protection advisers to manage cases from submission to ‘on risk’.

Providing a secretarial service and administrative support to the Operations Director and Resources Director and administrative support to the Association’s governance structure, including servicing Board, Committee meetings and the Leadership Team meetings. Assist with maintaining all HR files, letters, records etc. and maintaining key working relationships with external organisations and key stakeholders. Assist Corporate Resources Manager in the annual budget setting process and the quarterly monitoring of organisational performance. Maintain a strong performance management culture; encouraging colleagues to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction, ensuring agreed standards are met. Keep up to date with legislation and best practice in relation to all aspects of office management, corporate governance, including data protection, health and safety legislation, National Housing Federation and HCA guidance and circulars.
