I have been a public affairs specialist in the U.S. Army since graduation from the Defense Information School in 2009. As public affairs, I ensure the media relations program for the command is correct and complete. I have also been responsible for coordinating and facilitating print and broadcast media interviews with staff member involving installation activities. I have extensive experience in providing photographs, fact sheets and other material as needed, as well as writing and disseminating news releases describing on-going operations and information to local, regional, and national print and broadcast media representatives. I have also worked to manage and maintain the online presence of my assigned unit through public website content and social media sites.I am also a Certified Herbalist and Licensed Massage Therapist and run home-based businesses for the two areas.
