Until recently, I was an Independent Agent with Farmers Union Insurance. I am licensed in Home, Auto, Health, Life, Property & Casualty for Personal, Farm and Business Lines. I have since been strictly doing remote bookkeeping for several companies. I have owned (and sold) several businesses. I still own one small business, and do accounting for a construction company. I have been employed in closely held corporate construction firms for 25 years. 10 years with a general contractor and 15 with an electrical subcontractor. Currently, I'm working part time for a pipe & duct insulation contractor. I do all aspects of bookeeping (other than the annual 1120 income tax preparation). I am proficient at risk management, A/R, A/P, P/R, payroll tax, and quarterly 941, SUTA, FUTA, and state withholding reporting. I prepare monthly financial statements and job cost reports.
