As president of Greater Baltimore Chamber of Commerce, Beth works closely with the Executive Committee and Board of Directors to develop and implement membership growth strategies and programs and services valued by members. She oversees all aspects of Chamber operations, programming, financial management, communications, as well as membership recruitment and retention, event planning and execution, solicitation of sponsors, and interface with government and community leaders.

Advocates for and supports two Baltimore City schools and eight Pikesville area schools, families, and the greater Pikesville community. Strengthens parent engagement and communication, encourages a safe learning environment by working with key stakeholders, and fosters school initiatives that enrich every child's education. CHAI's mission is to strengthen neighborhoods with a significant Jewish presence by developoing and enhancing housing, affecting community development, and supporting aging-in-community.

A member of the site administrative staff, the academic dean assumes primary responsibility for supervising the academic staff and coordinating the academic program. A CTY academic dean performs the duties equivalent to a dean of faculty as he or she supports and guides 12-75 instructional staff who come from a variety of educational backgrounds and have diverse teaching skills. Through classroom observations and frequent conferences with staff, the academic dean provides feedback and mentoring on teaching strategies and classroom management. The dean also addresses student performance issues and oversees the editing of student evaluations.
