Beth was formerly Vice President, Planning Integration at Northwestern Mutual where she has held progressive leadership roles at the company since 2007. Accountabilities have included leading client experience, sales, training, diversity and inclusion, operations and strategic planning functions. Prior to NM, Beth was a Program Officer at the Greater Milwaukee Foundation where she worked with corporations and philanthropists to formulate grant-making strategies focused on education and the arts and culture sectors. Before moving to Milwaukee, Beth was a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton in NYC where she advised Fortune 500 companies on business operations. Beth also worked for two years in South Africa for a global telecommunications company, establishing the company’s first sales office in Africa and directing business development activities. Beth’s international work experience also includes Bangkok, where she worked for a year redesigning loan operations for the largest bank in Thailand as a management consultant. Beth also taught English in Japan for two years.Beth earned her MBA at Columbia University in New York; a MA in International Relations from Tufts University in Boston; and a BA in English Literature from the University of Virginia. Beth enjoys speed skating, running, creative writing, traveling and spending time with her husband and three children.
