- Undertaking project manager role; preparing price and programme, controlling budget and planning inspection of a reinforced concrete raft which spans over lines operated by Network Rail (Wessex), Network Rail (Sussex) and TfL, beside one of London key railway stations. Working directly with clients and sub-contractors.
- Undertaking GRIP 4 design of pre-cast integral bridge, preparing drawings, Approval in Principal, liaising within a multidisciplinary team and with Network Rail and clients.
- Undertaking GRIP 4 design of a replacement structure carrying Network Rail tracks and HA loading over 50m of TfL tracks.
- Planning, undertaking and leading inspection work, covering over 50 bridges, train sheds and footbridges for Network Rail, National Highways and local councils.
- Undertaking multiple bridge assessments including non-linear analysis using LUSAS Finite Element Analysis software.
-Preparing various Inspection for Assessment reports, Assessment reports, Approval in Principal etc.

This involved logging defects and outlining repair works. As my summer placement with WSP was cancelled due to the pandemic I took the opportunity to find employment abroad. Through Workaway, I worked as a waitress at a café in Bavaria, alongside looking after the owner’s children as an au pair. I excelled in a foreign workplace during busy periods of service, and built a long lasting relationship with my managers.
