After many years in human resources and office management, I pursued my master’s degree and embarked on a second career. I served as an elementary school counselor in a large, urban school district for seven years. Recently, I expanded my clinical skills and assumed the role of a school-based clinician and evaluator for Burrell Behavioral Health. I am experienced in individual and group counseling, presenting classroom lessons according to the district guidance curriculum, and collaborating with all stakeholders to ensure the social emotional well-being of the students in my building and my district. Additionally, I am certified in Play Therapy and have ample opportunity to practice this modality in my current role.I am also knowledgeable and experienced in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and case management of clients, as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Kansas and a PLPC in Missouri.
