Notable projects include: conducting a safe work place survey; liaising and delivering Equality Impact Assessment training to all programme managers and creating a resource bundle for staff; development of Active Bystander training; accessible presentation guidelines; arranging lunch and learn sessions such as Polar Pride, Menopause at work, Stress Management, Prostate Cancer, British Sign Language training and trans awareness; and a community diversity project that brought together community members who challenged NERC to improve diversity in environmental science.
