Managing a team of 17 Network Operations Officers that is responsible for operation of the ENERGEX high voltage electricity network in South East Queensland. The Team Leader, Network Access is responsible for managing the interface with Distribution Services and Transmission Services to deliver timely, efficient and economic access to the high voltage distribution network for planned capital and maintenance work in a designated geographic area. The Network Access Coordinator interfaces with other ENERGEX staff (inc. Transmission Services and Distribution Services) to facilitate the optimal delivery of planned access to the high voltage network.The Team Leader is also responsible for maintaining the capability of staff and ensuring all work is performed in a productive and safe manner.This role involves significant and ongoing interactions with:• Network Operations Planning Department staff regarding engineering analysis and project progress• Distribution Services and Transmission Services staff who make application for planned access to the electricity distribution system• Distribution Services and Transmission Services staff regarding switching and network problems• Major customers (eg Trade Coast customers and major hospitals) regarding negotiating opportunities for access to the electricity distribution system resulting in minimal impact• Protection department staff regarding protection issues• Technical staff from specialist areas required attending to network equipment and control system problems.

Leading a small team of analysts in the interface between the program office and procurement around material forecasting. Responsibilities include; Long Lead Item forecasting and Analysis, Program forecasting for Critical Stock Items, Reactive Material Management for Emerging Material Issues, as well as making recommendations around Inventory levels and future Program Supply requirements. Day to day activities include, liaising with Procurement Inventory and Procurement Contract Managers, Engineering Standards, Asset Management, Design and OAC reps for material changes (contract change overs) and Suppliers, leading the team in operational trouble shooting during critical stock outs and overseeing the forecasting and reporting for key material items.

Directly appointed to deliver the 18 month Project Management Plan for accelerated replacement of high-profile Public Safety Programs (Sicame Fuse, Mitte Service Cable, ABB U-Series Air Breaks) • Accountable for program delivery. Leading a small team of analysts within the Resource Planning Team. Operational Resource forecasting at a tactical (0-3month), operational (6-18month) and strategic (2 - 5years) level across the Energy Delivery Group. Demand and Supply analysis using internal HR / IT data (contracted hours, skill class, age, tenure profiling etc) to generate a capability matrix, and Ellipse, P6 and Historical trends (actual hours, program shifts, etc) to forecast Demand. Developing the capability of resource groups (ordinary time, over time, external contract) and the gap between the supplied POW and forecast for each resource group, along with anticipated risks profiled over a 0 month - 5 year period.
