Completed an undergraduate research fellowship as part of the Ma lab at the School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences, King's College London in second year of undergraduate degree. This was a practical, lab-based inorganic chemistry research project which involved the synthesis of a bifunctional heavy metal chelator which can be joined via a linker to antibodies, for use in medical imaging. Successfully made a novel chemical compound in this project, and significantly contributed to another member of the group's PhD project through my work.
