Responsibilities:•Lead designer on fully technical, multi product Superdry Ski range•Design and development of Superdry performance sportswear – from initial product conception, through to SMS and bulk production, working to the four season calendar•Ownership of multiple categories across different disciplines including Run, Train, Flex and Snow •Working closely with buying and merchandising teams to produce range plans with clear product price architecture, procuring the latest sales feedback to continually inform range development•Planning whole range against option framework, with a seasonal average of 200 styles, ensuring both target consumer and business requirements are met by designs•Managing my team of assistant designer and designer, overseeing their work to ensure cohesive range across all categories whilst motivating and encouraging their professional development•Creating seasonal design direction including collection inspiration, colour palettes and key new fabrics/trim development through detailed trend research, international shopping trips and attending trade shows such as Premiere Vision, Texworld and ISPO•Developing skills in Browzwear 3D design as test route for design team•Detailed creation of product sketches, spec sheets and design tech packs•Effective time management, both my own and my teams, adhering to critical path and making sure deadlines are met by prioritising tasks•Working collaboratively with suppliers and factories daily to achieve the best product•Seasonal product development trips to HK, China and India •Confident in presenting to CEO and executive board members each season•Work in close partnership with Garment Tech to ensure all garments fit correctly and any construction issues are resolved•Establishing Beta testing groups for sport products, learning from user experience to improve and innovate through design solutions

•Design and development of key styles and categories across both Mens and Womens Outerwear•Complete ownership of SS17 Womens Sport Collection, from initial design concept through to production•Supported all members of the Outerwear team with workload•Worked on special design projects including AW15 Ski range and Idris Elba IE collection

Working closely with the Menswear designer and developer to put collections into work, with tasks including:•Creating tech packs for a variety of product areas incuding Accessories•Responsible for SMU tech packs•Updating tech packs•Assisting developer on range launch •Creating CAD overviews for sales team•Conducting design and trend research in order to create mood, colour and inspiration boards for main range •Artworking check, print and stripe concepts•Designing and creating artwork for Knitwear patterns•Liasing with suppliers on submits up until proto stage

•Drafted patterns for new bag designs •Helped in design development by creating toiles, making pattern amendments and experimenting with alternative construction techniques

•Involved in setting up the new fashion retail store•Duties include: opening and closing the shop, stock management, calculating figures, supervising staff.•Extra responsibilities include: covering other stores and working at country shows.

•2 month internship with luxury mens/womenswear designer Lee Paton, was involved in all aspects of the business.•Assisted drafting patterns for clients, including bespoke tailoring.•Developed ideas for garments and accessories and worked on final pieces, including learning goldwork embroidery.•Edited images for men’s underwear campaign.•Involved in sourcing fabrics and components at Premiere Vision in Paris for his Autumn/Winter 2012/13 collection.
