I was taken on at Moo Free in April 2018 to support the company accountant who was starting as the new Managing Director. Initially the role was to be primarily accounts based - undertaking roles such as sales and purchase ledger control, credit control, customer invoicing, cashflow forecasting, daily account reconciliations, assisting with the monthly Management Accounts,as well as processing the monthly payroll which includes a mixture of both salaried and hourly pay types. In addition to this I have now adopted more HR tasks in house, as the company grows and expands. My overall aim is to assist the MD further, and take on more responsibility within the company as it grows.

I started at Tons of Tiles as an entry level Accounts Assistant, having just finished my AAT level 3 qualification. By the end of my time here I was supporting the company Accountants in their month end reports, processing VAT returns, full payroll duties, HR tasks such as offer letters and writing of job descriptions, as well as maintaining all HR records. I was also supporting the Operations Manager, and oversaw my junior colleagues in their own workload.
