Responsible for establishing service levels, life cycle cost analysis and asset risk management to prioritize expenditures replacement/rehabilitation for County assets and infrastructure. Perform data collection within the enterprise GIS and conduct asset condition assessments.Work with departments and Engineering firm to estimate future costs for replacement, rehabilitation or general maintenance requirements for all assets using industry standard practices. Review impacts of continued growth of existing assets with consideration to resources required to maintain service levels as well as identifying future service expansion and required resources. Collaborate with the Financial Analyst to provide technical information for the Long-Term Financial Planning, Tangible Capital Assets and Full Cost Accounting function.Assist in providing information and input into the Capital/Major Projects Plan related to infrastructure projects and programs.Perform cost/benefit analysis and risk management analysis related to asset management.Produce comprehensive reports and recommendations based on detailed analysis of County assets.Assist in budgeting and 10-year capital plan formulation utilizing information derived from the Asset Management System.Review, refine and update asset management plans on a tri-annual basis.
