Launching my career with Nationwide as Sr. Corporate Counsel, my transition to IBM as Contract Negotiator and Counsel was a natural transition and took me into the global sourcing arena. With IBM, I negotiated with global clients and resellers, structured competitive agreements for IT infrastructure products and services, and further explored strategic sourcing and procurement.★ ★ ★Joining JPMorgan Chase as a Category Sourcing Manager for Software and Enterprise Technology, I championed the allocation of $900M in IT spend, developed long-term category strategies, initiated RFx events, and mentored a team of 5 sourcing and legal professionals. During my seven years in this role, I evangelized Cloud sourcing and served as a thought leader, paving the way from physical data centers to Cloud-based services. Working tirelessly to drive adoption through strategic change management, in 2018, I was appointed to the first-of-its-kind Cloud vendor management position.★ ★ ★As the Cloud Vendor Manager, I aggressively controlled expenses, reducing spend from $190M to $100M in just 2 years. In addition, I took the initiative to earn 5 AWS certifications, expanding subject matter expertise and enabling transformational infrastructure modernization.★ ★ ★Joining Splunk, now Cisco, in 2021, I was initially recruited as Director of Infrastructure IT Sourcing but was promoted to Sr. Director within the first 120 days.
