My role involved interacting with a range of stakeholders across various sectors. I was responsible for identifying, developing, nurturing and owning relationships to ensure stakeholder views are shared effectively

Responsible for projects across Thailand and Cambodia. This includes ensuring the safety and security of placements, working with volunteers and their parents/guardians to assess volunteer skills development, managing multiple priorities simultaneously and leading meetings overseas to work through any volunteer or project issues.

Joal-Fadiouth, Senegal

I spent a year living and working in the town of Joal-Fadiouth, Senegal. Worked as an English teacher in two secondary schools and a Sixth Form. Planned and led my own classes for the year. Classes sizes ranged from 43 - 70 students, aged 11-24. Developed my leadership and communication skills and am confident working with young people of a range of ages. Furthered my knowledge of French and can confidently communicate in the French language, which I continued to learn during my first year at university. In addition to this I learnt conversational Wolof, and basic Arabic.
