Monarch Valley Productions is a theater company with a goal of providing a knowledgeable and supportive environment for artists to grow and perform.

• Planned, managed and was responsible for all Visual Art, Music, Dance, and Drama programming and numerous Community Special Events including summer concerts for the park district serving 76,000 residents• Responsible for department $1 million budget, personnel recruitment, training, program/facility expansion, development, and purchasing• Supervised, motivated, and evaluated staff of 45 instructors and 3 coordinators• Produced, directed, choregraphed 4 large and 8 small productions a year• Partnered with the Village of Schaumburg providing Summer Breeze Band Series, First Friday Summer Dance Concerts, Shakespeare in the Park, Prairie Art Festival, and Septemberfest with 500-2,500 audience members per event• Partnered with School District #54 hosting annual multicultural event with over 3,000 attendees. Growth of cultural arts programs resulted in the district expanding the visual arts space and adding four additional private music studios.• Pivoted programs and productions to virtual offerings during the peak of Covid saving district over $500,000 in revenue• Spearheaded new volunteer and innovation committees as part of district’s strategic plan• Formed and facilitated a Lunch and Learn program, Tasty Tidbits, that met monthly

• Responsible for overall operations, management and $5 million budget of the community center serving 200,000 residents• Managed recreation programming, facility operations and maintenance including a fitness center, pre-school, two full court wood-floor gymnasium, gymnastic room, 600-person banquet facility, theatrical stage, art rooms, dance rooms and senior center• Supervised and motivated district’s full-time Athletic Supervisors, Community Outreach Manager, Senior Supervisor, Performing Arts Supervisor, Pre-school Coordinator, Fitness Manger, and Program Supervisors• Assisted in the opening of the Phillips Park Aquatic Center, worked as shift manager, assisted in development of new registration system, created special events and themed birthday parties• Worked with board of commissioners to approve new policies, secure grants, and in-kind donations• Chaired district events such as Mid-America Canoe Race, Movies in the Park, Concerts, Moonlight Madness Glow Golf, Haunted Farms, Blackberry Fun Run and holiday events such as 4th of July• Spearheaded the creation of district committees to design and enhance programs and events that increased district’s offerings by 23%• Evaluated utilization of facility programs and services and implemented new opportunities which increased the utilization of facility by 45%• Performed competitive analysis and developed new district-wide room rental polices, fee structures and rental forms• Created and delivered comprehensive district-wide training program, BEST Academy for all district fulltime and part-time staff• Responsible for the redesign and new format of the district Activity Guides.
