Working on a multi-product category area in a fast paced environment has given me the opportunity to learn and develop quickly.I am responsible for:- Monitoring and analysing sales daily, and reacting to the findings i.e. placing re-orders, range building, developing best sellers etc.- Presenting best and worst and intake at weekly trade meetings.- Constantly re-searching and benchmarking against the competition, looking at trend and future opportunities to develop the range and ensure it is at its full potential.- Attending fit sessions with the garment tech team ensuring the sealing process runs smoothly and any styling/issues are picked up with suppliers.- Managing the brochure and mailer process ensuring samples are passed over to marketing team on time to meet photoshoot deadlines and ensuring the team are aware of what product is featured.- Hosting daily/weekly meetings with suppliers both in and out of the office.- Managing and controlling critical paths to ensure deliveries are on time, working closely with the merchandising team to ensure this.- Liaising and building relationships with suppliers in UK, Turkey and Far East suppliers on a daily basis.- Conducting print, quality and fabric approvals independently.- Organising the sample process ensuring samples are ready for meetings, press shoots, eccommerce etc- Negotiating cost prices with suppliers ensuring the BIM is maintained.- Preparing and presenting range planning and sign offs.- Managing the Industrial placement student making sure all processes are completed to a high standard.- Working closely with the VM team to ensure we are delivering our cohesive ranges in store and suggesting improvements to keep in line with the competition.- Responsible for developing the 'Seasonal Statements' and 'Denim' ranges ensuring fabric qualities, printing techniques, fit, and designs are up to date with the competion.
